Excellent food and service, friendly staff, fantastic Carvery and good choice of beer and wine I will visit again when i am in the area.

A very popular (crowded) pub for no good reason other than location. Food is a standard bland and carvery with very mean portions of meat. The employees are unfriendly, efficient but somewhat arrogant.
Beer low average in quality. Recommend you carry on to Croyde or Barnstaple.
