Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Jovial Sailor

Old-school corner local, re-opened on 2014. Retains a two-bar layout and a number of original features (including the multi-coloured upper panes in most windows). The public bar the entrance is relatively compact and basic, but the lounge beyond is larger, smarter and has room for the pool table. Busy for mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. Normally has Theakston Bitter on handpump, but unfortunately this was off when I visited so went for their keg Mild (£3.10) instead.
