A smart little 'bistro/bar' by the quay with a waterside outdoor area in the summer. It is tastefully furnished with a bar counter to one side but is 'wait to be seated' table service only. Despite the 'real ales' painted sign outside, just John Smith's Smooth crap and a few eurofizz on keg.

The Quayside has good views of the marina,the bar is on the left as you enter which has a few bar stools i was quite happy sitting at the bar most of the pub seems to be for diners and it was very busy with them,there was one real on the bar this was Black Sheep bitter it was a very good pint.I felt welcome as a drinker even though most people were eating here.
