After a rather chequered history in recent years, the New Clarence was recently taken on by the team behind the excellent Whalebone. Up to eight real ales are reportedly now available . Sounds very promising.

This is a city centre pub that has one large room with sports on the tv,there was two real ales on the bar these were Tim Taylor Landlord and Tetley Bitter it was quite busy on a saturday dinner mainly with younger people watching football.
