Cream coloured old building, a little off the beaten track. Lacks much olde worlde charm inside though, looks like a recent refurbishment and nearly the entire interior was set for formal dining. Three rooms, with an attractive leaded fox pane in the window where we sat. Point of interest was the small library en route to the 'washroom' (the gents was akin to a nightclub’s toilet in décor, by the way). Entertainment came via a mental black dog which kept chasing its own tail. Three ales, Ramsbury Gold, Upham Punter, Flacks Double Drop (in good nick). Not much pub ambience but the diners seemed happy with their lot so looks a good bet if you want to take your other half out for dinner whilst not scrimping on the ale.

Fantastic pub in the countryside serving very good Thai food.
Three Real Ales, Ramsbury Gold, Upham Tipster & Flacks Double Drop. Lots of good wines & Tiger Beer on draught.
They show sports including the racing channels.
