Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albion
Substantial mock-Tudor pub, but unlike most this one has a compact baronial-style hall (complete with minstrels' balcony, carved stonework and stained glass) in what is now the pizza kitchen servery. Various seating / dining areas around this and the bar counter, one located up a couple of steps, all with semi-modern furniture and decor. Some patio tables can also be found outside. Disappointingly, just Doom Bar available from the three handpumps, but at only £2.65 one can't complain too much...

Now called the Albion yes its still getting better a lot of the old customers are going back in now the ones that were customers when we ran it 8 years ago.
Its been hard work for the managers how it got run down when we left Spirit knew what they were doing when they got rid of us if you pay peanuts you get monkeys working for you and thats what they did

Called in on the 15th of Feb its a lot cleaner than last time we called in a new manager who is trying but its a long way to go before it gets back to what it was with Peter and Janet
