Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chaser
Impressive building with an arcaded frontage overlooking Shipbourne Common. Various seating / dining areas with an extended interior in an overall 'L' shape; all parts traditionally furnished and decorated. However, on a sunny day in coronavirus Britain, the customers were nearly all out in the extensive side beer garden which has a good number of tables under large square umbrellas. An almost unbranded Greene King pub, run by the local Whiting & Hammond mini-chain, with IPA, Abbot and - thankfully - Larkin's Traditional (£4.40) available from three of the four handpumps.
