Called in here for a drink on a Saturday lunchtime. The village is tucked well away from the hustle of the world, the pub very old world with stark furniture and stone/wood floors. Initially quiet when I arrived, it soon filled with walkers calling in to eat. Menu was simple but the food looked good. Three real ales available from which selection I picked British Bulldog Gold (£3.70 a pint) and it was excellent. Landlord/owner was very friendly, chatty and welcoming. Dogs allowed.

Great little pub, in the middle of nowhere. Great if you fancy sitting on the boundary of Harvel CC, with a pint.
