The Royal Oak is quite a nice looking pub and it is a lot bigger than it looks.
Once inside there was a very smart L shaped room with the bar facing this room was the lounge it was carpeted and seemed very comfortable and had a cosy feel to it,there was another small room round the corner which was quite small and looked like it was for diners only,the third room was a large square shaped bar at the rear of the pub this had a pool table and darts board in it this room was also carpeted.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Everards Tiger bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Black Sheep Golden Sheep and Theakstons Old Peculiar.
The pub looked like it would have a lot of diners in later but we were in here early,i thought this was quite a nice pub and it did have a proper pub feel to it.
