Old Boots left this review about Commercial Inn
Bigger, white rendered building looking like a solid traditional town pub however inside it has been knocked through into a single area. The grey counter and servery is against the front wall with limited seating to the left and rear, the right hand end is a games area with pool and darts. The decor and furnishings look fresh so I suspect a recent makeover with a formerly trendy light grey paint job. Screens and a machine with equally predictable music although the choice was older hits and suited me. There are three handpulls and two horseshoes, cask choice was Theakstons Quencher, Bradfield Farmers and a very acceptable Ossett Jet Stout, kegs were fairly standard I didn’t notice anything unusual. The corporate screen advertising said one of the casks was Wainwright so they presumably change quite quickly, they also have a cask club with casks at £2.50 Monday to Wednesday. A large sign at the back advertises “Kippax Pie Street” with pork pies at £2.75 and others at £3.50. Although I was the only punter on a Thursday lunchtime, I suspect it’s a good night time venue for the younger folks especially with a DJ area to one side.
