A two roomed pub of a traditional nature, it looked as though it had recently had a lick of paint and a tidy up. Another late night visit where I was beyond listing the beers but remember the selection being a little middle of the road, I had a Charnwood Salvation which was ok. A decent pub but not sure it would be first on my list of revisits.

On the face of it a great little pub, an unspoilt two-roomer with a good range of beers on. Somehow it didn't quite gel for me, at least on this visit, although I could see it rating higher in the right circumstances. Watch the opening hours.

Eight Pumps with six in use on our Sunday afternoon visit. The line up was Woodfordes Wherry and Bure Gold, Dancing Duck Brewery Dark Drake and Abduction, Pheasantry Tank Ale and Charnwood Salvation. I got three halves, Wherry, Tank Ale and Salvation, with a total of £5.60, which was reasonable. Old Boots was correct, there is quarry tiles in the front room. also staff and locals were all friendly.
