Oggwyn Great left this review about The White Lion
17th century pub/resturant that has been extended over the years , the main bar is to the right of the entrance , it has a small bar and a huge old fireplace taking up almost the whole of the one wall , there is a TV in the corner showing rugby , there is a raised area towards the front with several large round sturdy wooden tables .
To the left of the entrance is small cosy area that then leads to the main resturant .
Usual keg taps and three handpulls all with Theakston Beers , Best Bitter , XB and an OK Lightfoot .
Its decent enough in here , popular with diners but drinkers are well catered for .
