Visited Jan 2016
The Anchor is a large open knocked through pub, only one beer on, Wells Bombardier and the quality was not too good,a few locals in watching football,the solitary barman seem rather disinterested and added to the rather dismal feel of this pub. I hear it's now under threat of closure and it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case if my visit was anything to go by.
