Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Coach & Horses
Very traditional-looking village pub, retaining two small bars; the main one to the left as you enter (with the dining rooms down a few steps beyond), and another to the right (also laid up for those planning to eat). Quite dark inside, with a semi-rustic feel, but there is also a very attractive beer garden to one side. Three handpumps, offering the regular Harvey's and Larkins Traditional (£5.60) as the current guest (with local beers from 360° and Three Acre also featured by the look of things), together with a Black Pig cider.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Coach & Horses
A country pub that is definitely in Sussex, but has been listed under both East and West Sussex over the years. The car park, which features an old telephone box and a shelter selling local produce is quite tight. There is a much larger overflow space to the left-hand side. To the right-hand side is a pretty-looking garden.
Inside, there is a small bar area to the left and a similarly small room to the left, which leads into a much larger dining area down on a slightly lower level.
The friendly staff had Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter on offer alongside a guest beer, which was Long Man Long Blonde. A third handpull had the local Black Pig "Cyder", which was fetched from the cellar. It was a new one for me.
A pub with plenty of character that ultimately was my favourite pub of the day in Sussex.
