This used to be The Reindeer when I used it fairly regularly many years ago. It has seen better days and is a little rough around the edges. Still no real ale so we had a quick lager. Always a few friendly locals in.

A detached corner cottage style pub predominantly in undressed brick, with white bay windows and black paintwork. There is a patio at the back, but the car-park has been sold off for a house development.
The interior has an L-shaped room around the serving bar that has brown and white walls, with a white ceiling and a brown carpet, with brown seating. At one end of the room there was a dart board, with some maturer chaps playing and there was a TV, showing the BBC footy scores coming through. The music was mixed, but a bit on the loud side. The service was fine and the clientele locals - with pushchairs and toys at one end and some lads on the merry side down the other.
Beer; all tap stuff, no real ale. Had a Banks's MILD smooth which was OK.
A little un-nerving at first when we walked in and the piano-player stopped. The lack of any real ale and the loud music left me with a feeling of one for the locals I think.
