Blue Scrumpy left this review about The George
Roadside pub with a decent selection of local real ales. All other customers were sat outside in the garden. So, we elected to take a table indoors. Table service was in operation.
The real ales were Shalford Hyde Bitter & Stoneley Bitter & Mighty Oak Gorgeous George & Captain Bob. The landlady was friendly. But the interior was on the dark side and lacked atmosphere, with everybody siting outside. One of the better pubs on this crawl though.

This pub is hard to leave, good friendly atmosphere. Good food and beers. Quite a large pub with good size beer garden. My choice on handpump were Shalfords Mild, Shalfords Stoneleys - the Brewery is close to here. Also Woodfords Wherry, all well kept beers. Shall call again.
