Cask was a single hand pump dispensing Ba7e A7e from Glamorgan Brewing, a nod to Gareth! Keg was the keg version of the same name, the lager of the same name, Thatcher’s Haze, Thatcher’s Rascal, Asahi, Amstel, Inch's, Guinness, Neck Oil, Heineken, Moretti, Cruz, Gamma Ray, Jubel and berries & cherries cider from Old Mount.

Large sports bar opposite the castle. Had the Palace Euro game on all the screens with commentary during my visit. The pub is modern bare boarded with the bar counter against the left-hand wall. The front part has a mixture of regular and tall tables with a leather banquette on the right-hand wall under one of the big screens. There is a seating area with tall tables and benches at the rear of the ground floor and upstairs seating, but I didn't walk up to check that out. Not surprisingly lots of sports memorabilia on the walls, particularly of the signed shirt variety. All told a decent sport bar.
