It is an undressed brick corner pub, perhaps 1950s?, with a small beer patio. The interior has been completely gutted. The central bar area supports two rooms but the lounge was too dark to see. The bar is decked out in football memorabilia from all the local teams, adorning the plain walls. There is pool, darts and Sky TV/ESPN. The red Chesterfield styled leather seating as yet remains unripped. It seems to be aimed at the slightly younger market, though when i visited, there were some maturer people (the Villa were on TV). The service was friendly enough. Beer is tap stuff, with Banks's bitter the only handpull, which was fine. No MILD.
The place is ok, i just popped in to watch the Villa. More for the young, not enough beer choice

No beer on handpump. Appalingly loud music. Younger, and very aggressive, lairy clientele. £3 for a pint of lager in a dirty glass.
At least they put the sport on for me when I asked. Glad to get out alive.
