A large, detached, but now white painted brick pub and carvery, with patio area.

The interior has two rooms that i saw. A small bar room in a yellow decor. This room had all the clientele in when i visited. It has a pool table, a bar footy game a large screen TV (not on) and a DJ/Karakoke set-up. The service was fine. The other room, which i wandered inot is the carvery room and is large. It is in red and yellow, with some green, wood panel and undressed brick. As well as the food tables there are a few sofas. The pictures on the wall are arty bistro styled things. I didn,t eat, but saw the carvery laid out to start serving and it looked nice.

Beer; all tap stuff with a Banks's MILD - the only handpump had a Pedigree clip on, turn around. I just had a bitter shandy.

The food looked fine, but the absence of real ale would mean i wouldn't bother. I am sure it would be fine for locals and those that are happy with the keg stuff. Another place that at least keeps two clear rooms for food and for those simply wishing a pint and a game of pool.
