Another standard Foody pub. Took me nearly 40 minutes on the bus from Brum City centre. The plus point was an excellent pint of Wainwrights. Also Pedigree on offer. The best pint I had on my whistle stop tour of Streetly and Pheasey. Glad to tick this one off.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Foley Arms
On the edge of the conurbation, this Milton Inns & Taverns outlet is probably aimed at the family dining market (but I didn't see anybody eating during my early evening visit). Anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor throughout the numerous seating / dining areas (although it will shortly close for a few weeks for a refurbishment). A few locals were sat around the bar and playing pool, with a smattering of customers seated elsewhere, and also has a beer garden at the back. Just Doom Bar (£2.90) available from the three handpumps.

A modern detached mainly undressed brick build, with some white wood panel, with patio and rear beer garden. It is a part of the Sizzling chain.
The interior is open plan around the bar, which although mainly laid out for food, does have a bar area with a pool table and a TV with the sport on. The decor is brick, white, yellow, green and one white brick wall that looks older than the rest of the building. There are just a couple of pictures, and with the lack of other ephemera, the place does look a bit bare. We didnt eat, so cant comment on the food, but having eaten at a Sizzler before, their food always seems to be value for money. The service was fine, the clientele mixed and it was quite busy.
Beer; no real ale - all keg stuff, but the M&B MILD wasn't on - so i had a coke.
Perhaps not the best example of a Sizzler, mainly due to the lack of real ale, and not even a keg MILD. Cant see myself wanting to go out of my way to return.
