An article in the Express and Star says it closed in November 25 (for the 2nd time that year) and reopened in December 2025 - with the same owner. It is no longer boarded up but firmly closed up at 1pm on a Friday afternoon. On line resources suggested it should have been open.

Another solid pub in the middle of the "Delph" run. 3 beers on and always busy. Well worth a visit.

Called into this pub which features in the 2019 Good Beer Guide and there were 3 ales on. Enville Ale, Marstons Poppy ale, and Wye Valley HPA. There were little children running round both sides of the bar and one of the TVs had cartoons on. The room was furnished well for drinkers, and there was a decent outside garden area at the the rear. My Enville Ale was fine.
