This pub has had a refurbishment recently and is now much brighter. There's a raised area to the left and the rest of the pub is high tables & chairs or dining tables. There's a DJ on Thursday nights and the bar is full of big screens. As part of the refurb they've added real ale. Three handpumps on the bar, but only one on selling GK IPA, so a bit of a half hearted attempt really. I couldn't see anyone else drinking the ale and as it's one of me least favourite beers I had a half of fizz, which at £1.10 was very cheap. I still won't be calling in again, but at least it's an improvement.
