Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Waterloo Arms

Admittedly coming off a low benchmark, BrewDog has positively transformed the former Coopers, Wellesley and The Beer House into quite an attractive station pub (and a world apart from it's huge outlet in The Sidings at the far end of the terminus). Still underground of course, and the staircase still leads through the first seating area to the bar, with a semi-separate lounge facing that, but all have been refurbished in a light modern style that avoids the usual industrial look. Quite a small selection of craft keg beers for the chain, but there's still 12, including a couple of ciders and Budvar Original, Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissenbier and A Little Faith from Northern Monk (£6.90) as guests.

Given Brix LDN wasn’t in fact my last unvisited open venue on the site on SE1, I popped here this evening as I hadn’t previously picked up on the fact that the old version of this had rebranded as a BrewDog outlet. I actually really like this as a station bar / pub - much more my taste than the epic and manic proportions of their establishment at the other end of the station. Thought they have done a good job with the illuminated planed staircase on the way down creating some classiness (relative use of the term applied to a station pub) that the previous incarnation failed to provide. Yes, usual range of their quaffs at very steep prices, but you can do worse with station pubs for a quick one before your train.

Now another branch of Brewdog, the latest in a long line of assorted hospitality ventures occupying what was once the gents toilet. Presumably not enough people were finding their way to 'The Sidings' so they wanted an outlet on the main station. They have brightened the place up a bit, but it is still just a Brewdog, with 16 or so taps offering various overpriced and over-flavoured Brewdog brews, with the occasional guest. It is what it is.
