Strongers . left this review about Bison & Bird
Bison and Bird is a modern bar with seating to the right of the entrance that is faced by a teardrop shaped bar that ‘hangs’ from the right hand wall. Behind the bar is more seating and at the rear is a raised seating area with a smaller bar on the back wall. During my late visit on a recent Saturday afternoon rugby was being shown via Sky Sports on plasma screens and a couple of projectors.
Premium keg products are available from the bar and the food menu seemed to consist mainly of burgers that are priced £7 - £9 alongside American themed sharing plates that are priced up to £25.
I found the service to be polite and although I prefer a proper pub I would consider returning for a bite to eat.

With a little time to kill I dropped into this place just to see if it had changed since previous reviewers' visits. It hasn't. It's still essentially a cocktail bar - all chrome and glitz. However, the barmaid was friendly enough when I enquired about real ale and did point out that they had Meantime Pale Ale on keg. But I didn't stay for a drink.
