Modern corner bar like pub, stripped brick interior but some nice marble on the outside. The counter is on the left with a range of ordinary keg solos and two pulls - Doombar and London Pride (clip reversed) fortunately a couple from Salt were among the usual stuff but one was Alpcalypse. Lots of wood, in the furniture, floor and the raised area on the right. Couple of screens, one each end and a couple of machines with constant low music but that was drowned out by customer noise. Friendly staff but a few down market punters trying to outdo each other in Fs per sentence detracted from the experience somewhat. Big clear windows give a lovely view of traffic on the Caledonian Road.

Prominent corner pub not too far from Kings Cross station on the Caledonian Road. It was fairly busy on our Saturday morning visit, including a large group of Newcastle football fans and what appeared to be a hen party sporting reindeer antlers. There was a bouncer on the door, presumably to prevent any trouble.
I vaguely remember my last visit here almost 5 years ago. But in truth, there's little that sticks in the memory with this one. However, this pub was at least open, with most of the other local boozers not opening until the afternoon. Pride & Doom Bar are the real ales. I opted for SALT Jute on keg, which was dispensed in a plastic glass. It wasn't too bad a beer though.

Just round the corner from Kings Cross it is a decent looking pub. We had pint of London Pride which was just about drinkable and moved on.
