A fairly typical American-type restaurant, with wood-clad walls and garish colours, specialising in chicken wings as the name suggests. The surprise is that the beer part of the name is also lived up to, with a bank of 5 hand pumps offering Tiny Rebel Cwtch, Serious Brewing Redsmith, two from Beartown and a Lilley's cider. It wouldn't be my first choice of a pub, but worth dropping by for some different beers.

Modern restaurant and sports bar, with a long but narrow main seating / dining area supplemented by more seating a side room. However, it does have five handpumps on the counter, and when I visited, I found three of these operational and dispensing Lancaster Blonde, Beartown Simcoe (£3.75) and Lilley's Mango cider (with the clips behind the bar suggesting a diverse range of real ale being sourced). A count of the various keg taps also came to an impressive 21 different craft and standard beers.

excellent for what it is, an ultramodern trendy sports bar. it's not at all my cup of tea but credit where credit is due, especially for offering 5 good ales when they could easily stick with the bare minimum Coors, Budweiser etc. - and does someone fancy themselves as a reverse Tim Martin with all the EU flags draped over the bar?
