A large barn-like drinking den and diner in an old library building, part of Taunton’s nightlife quarter. A long bar counter with multiple gas pumps dispenses lagers, ciders, megakeg beers but no real ale. The young staff are functional and pleasant, and the customers are predictably dull. We didn’t see any pitchers, and if there is a piano it is well hidden. It lacks any kind of pub feel but is probably OK for tasteless alcohol and bland food if you really feel the need, but to be honest the Cosy Club next door is a better bet in that regard.
