A visit derived more from curiosity than any great plan, having paid a visit to The Cheshire Cheese across the road I decided to have a quick look. Bereft of custom apart from one other, little has changed from the previous review except maybe different beers and certainly prices, a pint of Paulaner Hefe setting me back £6.95 though a decent beer all the same.Not really my thing so probably won't be a repeat visit but ok as a one off.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bavarian Beerhouse

Exactly what you would expect, with mostly basic fold-up wooden benches and tables (with red and white checked coverings). Also has a few high tables and a circular booth for those not looking for the dubious comfort of traditional biergarten seating. Light paintwork and few stags heads for decor, and cheesy German party music in the background. Table service from dirndl-clad waitresses. Total of ten beers - mainstream, but in a variety of styles - available from six large ceramic founts, from which I selected the Krombacher Dunkel (£5.30).
