Apart from the Taste of China restaurant in Thetford I would say this is the best restaurant in the country. The quality of the food is second to none, the food is cooked to perfection - try the venison steak and you will know the meaning of “melt in the mouth”. The food is always well presented and the potions are by no means small - try the what should be “world famous” seafood platter and I defy you to clear the plate. The staff are attentive and friendly, the beer is excellent and they stock a huge variety of single malts - it is well worth a 12 hour drive from southern England for a meal in the Myrtle Bank Hotel.
