Will Larter left this review about The Imperial
A large and fairly typical shopping centre pub, with Tamla Motown and Northern Soul record sleeves on the walls. Unfortunately there was modern pop music on the CD player. A couple of hand pumps on the bar were dispensing Thwaites Lancaster Bomber and Robinsons Unicorn. I had a half of the former, which was not terribly impressive, but that is not necessarily the fault of the people running the place.
