Sadly not open when I visited Llangollen. They are having trouble recruiting staff and hope to open soon.

Originally reopened as a daytime cafe bar in the Smithfield Arms premises, has become a pub/bar with longer opening hours and "bulk beer" sales. The bulk beer is just four keg lagers, with no ales, Real or otherwise on my visit. Seems to be used in the daytime by mothers with small children.
Regular 9am-5pm hours often extended at weekends.
