Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Primrose
This pub looks like it should be out in the countryside somewhere - which, given its apparent age, I guess it was (if you go far enough back in time) - rather than suburban Tonbridge. It looks like it originally comprised two rooms, now partially opened out, but apart from that the interior looks equally traditional too. Also has a couple of wooden benches out front and a small patio garden at the back. Sports TVs and various events advertised. Just the regular Harvey's on my latest visit, but there is sometimes a second real ale available.

Strongers . left this review about The Primrose
I visited the Primrose on a recent Friday evening when there were ten or so customers in this cosy pub. Along the right hand wall is the bar that supports four hand pumps. One was unused and one was off leaving Sharp’s Doom Bar and Harvey’s Best as the ale options. There was also a standard keg range. Food is available with ham, egg and chips costing £4.50 and Sirloin Steak £11. There is also an extensive pudding menu with each dish costing £2.95. The inclusion of a children’s menu suggested that kids are welcome.
Plasma screens are positioned throughout for watching live sport I spotted a jukebox. Live music was advertised or the last Friday of every month and there is a meat raffle at 17:00 on Saturdays. There is also a dartboard.
I found the welcome to be polite and the atmosphere to be friendly so I would have no problem returning here for another pint.
