I’ve driven past the Harp a few times early in the afternoon and it has always appeared to be shut. There are chalkboards on the exterior walls that have had the words ‘EXOTIC DANCERS’ hastily scribbled upon them. Performance times are from 17:00 Tuesdays through to Saturdays so maybe the pub doesn’t open until then. I wonder if the owners are church going folk so no gyrating on a Sunday and maybe the walls get hosed down on Mondays. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to take plenty of nuggets as my experience of these places is that the jar is constantly doing the rounds and gone are the days of slinging in some Maltese shrapnel picked up in the local Kwik-E-Mart.

This used to be a family orientated pub and I think that it is a blot on the East Peckham landscape. The least the owners should do is clean up the outside a bit a make it look a little less seedy.
