A late Victorian or Edwardian building in brick with a fancy gable and it’s a fairly big place. Inside is more modernised with an open plan layout across two bars. There’s a front bar with three quad T’s and three unused hand pumps. The larger rear bar has four quad T’s and further back a pool table and beer garden. Mostly banquette and booth like seating in the front with tables and chairs high and low in the back. Screens and machines in both bars with need I say it? piped music. Not much decor, some old photos and small cut outs of racing silks on one wall, some screens were on Racing TV. Yet again another well used pub.
