Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cock Horse
Once on the A21 trunk road, and still with a fair amount of passing traffic, this country pub has naturally had to aim at those looking to eat for many years. Pleasantly traditional - in a rather understated way - both within and without. Opened out and refurbished, with most of the tables set aside for dining, but there are plenty of stools along the 'J'-shaped counter and some general tables near the welcome real fire at one end. As a Shepherd Neame house, I found Master Brew and Whitstable Bay Pale (£4.20) on two of the three handpumps.
