Laverys is a large bar with an island serving counter that sits between seating down the side walls and at the rear. In the rear right are a couple of raised seating areas, one behind the other. Live music was being set up in the front seating area during a recent midweek early evening visit. They were probably getting ready for when the football was finished being shown on the multiple screens throughout. Standard keg is available as is pub food, the burger is priced at £14, and the double is £17.50 which is top end for any pub I visited during my stay in Belfast. There’s a back bar, pool room and advertised balcony, but I didn’t visit these areas. There’s also an adjoining to Woodworkers next door so these venues are probably run by the same company. I thought it was comfortable in here, but I doubt this is the case at the weekend.

Very ornate gin palace with an island bar in the main room. There's a back room which is used for live sport and also as a disco later at nights. They also have a pool room and a bistro. The main room is full of TVs as well as the back room. There are several small booths on the left hand side . The right hand side is mainly dining tables aimed at larger groups. We called in one lunchtime when it was fairly quiet with just a few business people in having lunch. Standard array of Irish kegs on the bar. It was warm outside so I had a pint of Harp which was OK. No idea what it's like when there's a big match on or the disco is in full swing, but it's very pleasant at lunchtime.
