This is a long narrow Spoons with a low ceiling, the bar is on the left and there are some smaller areas to sit on the right. There is a paved patio at the rear and a much smaller one on the right. It wasn't that busy on my Saturday late afternoon visit.
The bar has two banks of five hand pumps. one had the two GK beers, Doom Bore, Broadside (available soon) and the International Adnam's Feral Hop Hog (available soon). The other five had Titanic Desert Hero, Mauldon's Blackadder, May Bee & Blackberry Porter with one pump having a turned Mauldon's clip. I went for the Desert Hero (£1.99) which I thought was rather unimpressive for a Titanic beer but seemed to be in good condition.
This is a reasonable sort of Spoons, a lot quieter than some.

This is another example of what happens to a wetherspoons after several years.
Service is indifferent to bad. I'd rather pay a little extra to get better. You simply get what you pay for. Its below average.

Orignally the courthouse of the Manor of Battesford. This is one of the better Wetherspoon pubs, large bar with side seating areas, 2 outside drinking areas and a good range of real ales. The only thing that spoilt it on our visit was the screaming kids at lunch time, which was very, very busy, other than that not a bad pub.
