Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Walmer Castle

Traditional-looking pub between the High Street and the beach, although it's a bit more refurbished and semi-something (but not quite sure what) than I expected inside. One thing that doesn't appear to have changed recently, though, is the layout with a L-shaped main seating area and a smaller, separate, corner lounge; all set around an island bar. With just one of the two handpumps in use, the Youngs Original (£5.20) was the only real ale on offer.
