The Red Lion, Marchwiel is a lovely 17th century village pub and restaurant opposite the church in Marchwiel, 2 mile south of Wrexham on the A525 in North Wales. We have our own large private car park, a large attractive garden with children’s play area, bar, lounge and restaurant.
You will find a warm and friendly pub that appeals to all age ranges here, the surrounding area of Marchwiel is renowned for its public walk paths and cycle tracks. We have an excellent reputation for fantastic, affordable food and drink with a warm welcome guaranteed. We hope to see you soon!

The Red Lion is a lovely village pub close to Wrexham in North Wales. It has off the road parking, a large attractive garden, Bar, Lounge and Restaurant. The pub has the Cask Marque for its real ales and has a great reputation for its Hobgoblin!
Our staff offer a great service, it is a friendly, warm Pub that appeals to all age ranges. Children are very welcome and pets are allowed in the Bar area, as the surrounding area is renowned for its walks and cycle tracks.
We have an excellent reputation for fantastic, affordable food. We cook from fresh local produce and have two excellent chef’s that have created some fantastic dishes. Our comments book is packed with consistently great comments and our repeat business is extremely high.
