Splendid little pub tucked away down a steep turning, with no obvious signing from main road so take care finding. the age of the building makes a cool. dark interior with three adjoining rooms. Visited during a beer festival, but it seems regular beers are from Hydes and guests. Food not sampled but fairly basic menu of the fried variety. Very close to heritage centre. A hidden gem.
