A hidden oasis in a sea of, er, two bad pubs! But you have to pay for luxury. At £2.25 per pint, it is easily the most expensive in Shotton. When I ordered a packet of Mini Cheddars and the barman said two fifty, I could not believe they were dearer than the beer, but when he repeated two f' fifty I realised it was time to clear the wax.
A good out of the way pub that would be closed lunchtimes and maybe Monday and Tuesday in most parts of Wales!

Friendly local down a quiet lane. 2 real ales on when I went in. A few tropical fish tanks on show.

fantastic atmosphere, quiet little family pub, and you are always made welcome ! :-)great up to date duke box, a good pool table, and not to expensive good quality beer and real ales ... need i say more :-)
