The public bar here is a typically pleasant but mundane hotel lounge, with little to distinguish it from hundreds of others I’ve been in. A pint of Guinness cost me £3.60 and Belhaven Best, Carlsberg lager and San Miguel lager are also on draught. It is, however, the nearest regularly available drinking option to Perth Railway Station, as the bar of the Station Hotel, across the road, isn’t always open.
