Strongers . left this review about The Queens Head Inn

There are a couple of entrances to the Queens Head, but the left one was closed due to wet paint so I entered through the right where some sofas sit in the front window and steps lead up to long high tables up the right. The L-shaped serving counter lined with locals is found to the left and further left are a couple of pool tables. Some stone walls are found throughout, including in the left rear corner where there’s a snug with a dartboard. BBC News was muted on the television while the jukebox played intermittent background music. The service was polite and the customers friendly enough, but only Doom Bar was available on hand pump. Premium keg was also available alongside Kronenberg. This isn’t somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit.

Gill Smith left this review about Queens Head Hotel

Had called here earlier in the day and it was closed with a sign saying Pub Business to Let, so it may be in line for a change of management. A couple came out and I asked about it's opening times and was told it would open 3pm. When we called back there was a large room with a bar and 1 real ale on. Not St Austell! We had Butcombe bitter. There was a disabled toilet but once in it was pitch black as there was no lights working, and my husband had to go downstairs for the toilet. 2 pool tables in the room.
