I was advised by the taxi driver not to say too much in this bar, just observe. Famous for pitch battles between drunk OAPs and the female barstaff apparently. On my visit a scratch jazz band played to just one or two afficianos, and I saw no "action" as such. But not a friendly place and serving just the 17 shilling and Tennants Lager keg beers.
