The Squirrel is like a lot of pubs in the Gallogate are of Glasgow are only open at the weekends and this one is no exception. When the Barras marked is on it is standing room only. Otherwise during any other time just a rough and ready pub. The lager on tap is Tennant’s. No heavy / beer, which is only supplied in cans. I could not really complain, as I only had to pay £2.00 for the pint. Also a lot of pubs along the Gallowgate area show allegiance to the Celtic side of the Auld Firm.
