The Hielan Jessie is a hidden gem(to visitors/tourists) of Glasgow's Pub culture. If you are into the old-fashioned style and vibe of pubs, this is the place to go. Not far from city centre, reasonably priced, the exterior and interior feels like a time warp. To me personally, the Hielan Jessie is a better pub in terms of retroness and localness than the renowned Laurieston. It has got a functioning fire place that actually burn charcoals during the winter nights, I wish the Hielan Jessie will never change.
