An attractive looking corner bar, at least from the outside. Despite the name, there are no cask ales, just McEwan's 80 Shilling and Caledonia Best, in addition to Guinness, Tennents and Kronenburg lager and Magners Cider. There is a small lounge area on a raised level at the rear, but it was empty, with everyone drinking in the main bar, which has a pool table and dart board. From Monday to Wednesday, pints are sold at only £2.30 and, even at other times, it's quite cheap. Bar snacks are also available. The Cask also advertises "open mic nights" and live bands some nights (unless the Boston Tea Party is a tea party).
