Despite the promisingly nautical name and attractive exterior, this came as something of a disappointment. Inside, it's just a bland modern pub, consisting of one long bar room with a lounge area at the rear. Although there is a TV and juke box, the atmosphere was more like a diner than a pub and it was very quiet, despite it being a Saturday night. Tennent's lager sells at £3 a pint and Carling lager, Stella Artois, Belhaven Best and Magners and Strongbow ciders are also on draught.
