This consists of a small, wood panelled, traditional style bar with a lounge at the rear which you might miss unless you’re going to the toilet. With Tennent’s lager selling at £2.80 a pint, it’s one of the more inexpensive pubs in town and was very busy, with a mixed clientele in terms of age and sex, on the Saturday night I called in. Guinness, Carling lager, Belhaven Best, Blackthorn cider and the pub’s own Commercial Inn House lager are also available on draught.
