like the Sailors up the road it's very much a big shiny drinking barn and makes that very clear. as big shiny drinking barns go this one is far better and friendlier though. the trendy barman was an affable chap and to my surprise it was very popular with pensioners this morning. St Austells run it and Tribute and Proper Job were on the bar. far from the worst in Newquay and a prime people watching spot. though it's probably hell on earth later on.
